The Corn Craft Gift Shop & Tea Room is a family run concern that began life back in September 1990 as a small craft shop and tea room. It has evolved and grown over the years and offers one of the area’s most extensive ranges of unusual cards, gifts and now ladies clothing.

Situated in a restored granary, the shop is an 'Aladdin's Cave' of distinctive products including jewellery, handbags & accessories, ceramics, stationery, preserves, candles, corn dollies and so much more!.

Our selection of cards is second to none and our friendly staff are very happy to help visitors with their gift purchases.

Corn Dollys

An art form dating back to pagan times, the Corn Dolly was originally made out of the last sheaf of corn to capture the 'corn spirit'. Kept over the winter, the Corn Dolly was returned to the fields in Spring and burned or buried to ensure that the coming years harvest would be successful. Corn Craft is unique in offering visitors the largest selection of Corn Dollies in the country.

All of our products are handmade from specialist straw grown on our farm.

Tea Room

Our Tea Room welcomes visitors for breakfast, morning coffee, lunches and afternoon teas. Everything we serve is homemade on our premises.

Whether your favourite is a Latte or an Earl Grey, visitors are welcome to take a refreshment pit stop whilst browsing around the ever-changing array of gifts and ideas in the shops.

The Tea Room is currently open from 10.00am to 4.00pm Tuesdays to Sundays.

Breakfasts are served from opening until 11am and hot meals between 11am and 3pm with sandwiches available at anytime. 

On Sundays we also offer a delicious home cooked roast lunch served from 12.30pm.
